FPS on the PS3
I have been giving Resistance a go on the PS3 and really wondering if there is any point to playing shooters on the console. I really like the Sixaxis controller for a lot of things but trying to use the right joystick to aim is painful beyond belief. You end up doing things that seem contrived to get around the limitations of the interface. For example the alien’s shots are slow enough to dodge with a sidestep.
They also tend to stand in fixed positions and step out into your fire. The game was cheap but there’s really nothing like a mouse for shooting.
